Cannot say enough - exceptional Trip of a lifetime!! Our driver Cyril was fantastic. Took us places we would have never gone to on our own - so knowledgeable and personable. Exceptional experience I cannot recommend Small Escorted Tours highly enough. We took a family trip, 6 adults of varying ages, to celebrate a milestone birthday. Paul was a pleasure to work with, an absolute professional. Easy communication via email throughout the planning process, timely responses, attention to detail, simple payment process. While on the tour Paul was just great, he crafted each day based on varied interests and always had some special place to show us not directly on the itinerary. He provided excellent context to all the places we visited, had great stories and took us to some truly amazing, unique sites. And he is incredibly kind to boot. Spectacular Irish Tour! An amazing trip of a life time!!! Paul was our guide and he exceeded all our expectations!! As the trip progressed, Paul tailored the outings to our interests and needs. He was professional, articulate and a great educator. He explained the history and cultural aspects of each site we visited. He never rushed us and he took us to special places we never knew existed, such as the Kerry Cliffs, the Kilkee Cliffs, Dingle Crystal and several wonderful chocolate factories. He even introduced us to the best fish and chips ever. We highly recommend Small escorted tours for a guided tour in Ireland. Everything was seamless and easy. Spectacular! ONLY Small Escorted Tours of Ireland! Our first Ireland experience was so great due to the planning and care of the Small Escorted Tours of Ireland team. All we had to do was get off the plane and get on the van. The driving and destination planning were all expertly navigated by our guide, Maurice, who has toured members of our family now four times, all with rave reviews. There is not a square centimeter of the entire island that he does not know, which means were able to see many things, hear many stories, insights and anecdotes, that you would not get if you rented a car and struck out on your own! - Don't do this! You will miss so much stressing out driving on the opposite side of the road, tying to park at popular sites, finding hotels, etc., etc. SETI knows where to take you to optimize your time in-country. What a trip to Ireland! We recently returned from a family trip to Ireland and it was truly one of our favorite vacations—thanks in large part to our exceptional guide, Kevin. Traveling as a family of four, we wanted a more personal and enriching experience, and this tour exceeded all expectations. Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and brought Ireland’s history and culture to life with fascinating stories, humor, and insights that really added to the trip. His passion for the country was contagious, and he always knew the best spots to visit, eat, and explore. Some of our favorites include the stunning town of Killarney, where we enjoyed the the national park and the local pubs with so many live music options; the colorful seaside village of Kinsale, and the Caherconnell Stone Fort, where we were blown away by the sheepdog demonstration. If you have an opportunity to take in a Hurling or Gaelic football game, it's well worth taking the time. Every day was different and felt like a nice blend of sightseeing, learning, and authentic local experiences. Unbelievable Trip We couldn't recommend Small Escorted Tours of Ireland enough. Our guide, Paul, is the primary reason we had such an amazing experience. Our daily itinerary was set before we arrived, but Paul was flexible enough to make changes on the fly if we had specific interests that arose during the trip. His deep knowledge of the culture, history and geography of Ireland is extensive and conveyed with a clear love of his homeland. It was very much like having a good friend take you around their hometown, but it was an entire country. Great times in Ireland. Had a great experience. This tour company made the planning easy and enjoyable. Very flexible on the scheduling and Paul was amazing. This was our 2nd trip to Ireland and it was amazing both times because of Paul and this company. The country and the historic sites were awesome. I hope there is a third trip in the future and we’ll be able to utilize Paul’s and Small Escorted Tours of Ireland again. New Grange, Giants Causeway, and all the Castles were my favorite. Exceptional Experience & Exceeded Expectations Traveling with Small Escorted Tours was a magical experience while in Ireland. We provided them with a general idea of where we wanted to visit throughout the country, and then they planned our agenda, and booked our lovely accommodations. Our tour guide, Paul, picked us up each day in an extremely comfortable Mercedes van, and shared his love of history and geography while weaving stories and folklore throughout our journey. My husband and I gained a greater appreciation for Irish heritage and culture with Paul’s in-depth knowledge. Although our agenda was planned each day, we also had off the beaten path experiences based on what Paul learned about us. The family owned woolen mill to buy sweaters, the border collie herding experience, and a visit to the Ogham rock writings in an obscure location, are just a few that we loved. Paul is also an experienced hurler, so we got a free lesson in an open field which was fun. Each day offered unique highlights that only made us wish we stayed longer. The Irish are special and so very welcoming. When we go back, we will use Small Escorted Tours again as they made our experience exceptional.

We began in Dublin and travelled along the south and west coasts. We could not have been happier with our guide and driver Maurice! He was ever so accommodating, and offered a wealth of experience and knowledge about the areas our trip covered. We plan on returning to Ireland in the future and certainly hope to have Mr Curran as our guide again!
